Track Sawing & Wire Sawing
Track/Wall SawingWall saws are used for cutting doors, windows, foundations, vaults and concrete upstands.
The equipment consists of either a 3 phase or Hydraulic powerpack which drives a motor that is attached to a track that has been securely fastened on a surface.
The saw head can be fitted with diamond blades from 500mm to 2000mm.
Wire SawingWire sawing is a technique that originated in quarries to cut stone. A multi-strand cable fitted with diamond beads is threaded through a series of pulleys and is pulled continuously through the concrete.
It can be driven by either a 3 phase or Hydraulic powerpack.
The benefits are:
- Cuts heavily reinforced concrete accurately
- Cuts through nearly unlimited wall thickness
- Wire is water cooled which reduces vibration noise and dust.
- Is much faster than using diamond blades.
